More About Reiki
Reiki (translation: universal life energy) is a Japanese healing art that empowers practitioners to transmit healing energy to recipients. It is secular, non-dogmatic, and universally compatible with religious and spiritual beliefs. While similar to other energy medicine modalities, Reiki students rapidly learn and become proficient due to an attunement process in which the instructor accelerates the development of the students’ perceptual and bioenergetic abilities. Dr. Sulak’s Reiki Level I course includes an experiential understanding of simple but profound healing arts principles and practices that are often only included in advanced courses of other
modalities.
Reiki can be used alone and in conjunction with other healing modalities. It is also an excellent tool for self-healing, deepening meditation, enhancing intimacy, and more. Dr. Sulak has been teaching Reiki since 2001 and incorporates it into his osteopathic treatments.
More About Cannabis and Ketamine
Cannabis is one of the safest, most versatile, and most powerful herbal medicines. Often used as a stand-alone treatment for a variety of symptoms, cannabis can also be used to address underlying mental, spiritual, and physical imbalances and as an adjunct to other healing arts practices. Dr. Sulak’s Healing Arts Phase 1 provides practical knowledge and skills in the use of cannabis for self-healing and in a therapeutic setting to augment personal evolution and healing. Participants will have the opportunity to experience both roles of practitioner and recipient in powerful cannabis-assisted therapy sessions that combine low doses of inhaled cannabis with guided self-awareness and methodical steps for transforming limitations.
Ketamine is a synthetic pharmaceutical compound, classified as a dissociative anesthetic. It is one of the most widely used drugs in modern medicine, and is on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines. In the last two decades, ketamine has been increasingly clinically applied at subanesthetic doses as an off-label treatment for chronic pain along with various chronic treatment-resistant mental health conditions, such as depression, alcoholism, substance dependencies, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and other conditions.
At lower doses, ketamine can provide calming and euphoric effects, altered sensory perception, and heart-opening effects. Higher doses can produce psychedelic experiences that can assist in the healing and transformation of existential and transpersonal challenges. Healing Arts Phase 2 includes preparation for, participation in, and integration after a group psychedelic-assisted therapy session using ketamine via the oromucosal or intramuscular routes of administration. The skills and knowledge obtained can be readily applied to other psychedelic tools.
